Turn "we can’t" into "here’s how" at this free, one-day workshop. Moving beyond the basic science of sleep, this event focuses on real-world problem-solving and action with lessons learned from experienced school and community leaders.
Who Should Attend?
- School Implementers: Superintendents, transportation directors, school administrators, athletic directors, and others responsible for school operations and scheduling.
- Advocates: School committee members and legislators, parents and guardians, teachers and other school staff members, health professionals, and other concerned community members.

- Strategies for handling bus routes, athletics, and other implementation challenges
- Why the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that middle and high schools start after 8:30 AM to allow for sleep, health, and learning.
- Effective communication and engagement approaches to build community and leadership support and encourage positive statewide or district action.
