While the American Academy of Pediatrics has recommended that middle and high schools start no earlier than 8:30am, all 13 high schools in Lee County start at 7:05am.
The Lee County chapter, our 33rd chapter and the second in the state of Florida was formed to address this issue. Start School Later is currently looking for new leadership of this chapter.
