In 2024, three Board of Education Members will be elected representing: One At-Large position, District 2, and District 4.
​On March 11, 2024, ​Start School Later Montgomery County sent a letter, attachment, and questionnaire to the candidates. Please click on the hyperlinks below to read their responses.
Start School Later Montgomery County released this press release, following certification of the primary votes.  The Candidates below won their seat in the 2024 General Election.

2022 Board of Education ​Elections in Montgomery County

In 2022, four Board of Education Members will be elected representing: One At-Large Position, District 1, District 3, and District 5.

On October 3 2022, prior to the General Election, ​Start School Later Montgomery County sent a letter, attachment, and questionnaire to the 2022 Board of Education candidates.  The Candidates below won their seat in the General Election. Follow the hyperlinks below to the responses by two of the Board members:​

The League of Women Voters held a virtual candidate forum prior to the Primary Election, on May 18, 2022.  Transportation and start times were part of the discussion.

Bethesda Beat hosted a virtual General Election candidate forum on October 27th.  The third audience question asked was about school start times at approximately 1:13.  All candidates attending responded to the question.
