Our National Petition seeks to establish guidelines so that all schools start no earlier than 8:00am.

Kansas City Public Schools have struggled with accreditation and a parent group actually sought a proposal for a charter school to be established there. Currently, the school district uses three tiers of start times and all seven of the high schools start at 7:20 a.m.
Kansas City also includes the Park Hill School District. The two high schools there start at 7:30 a.m., and the two middle schools before 8:00 a.m. SSL is currently looking for a Chapter Leader for Kansas City.
