Berks County, Pennsylvania is home to 18 public School Districts. Our goal is to advocate for and create support to start school later for adolescents. The research strongly suggestions that students are not getting enough sleep which creates numerous academic, health and safety concerns for students.
Our hope is to work with students to develop student advocates. In addition, we plan to collaborate with parents, teachers, school administrators, school boards, Berks County Intermediate Unit and Berks Career & Technology Center as well as other interested groups to ensure our students have a safe and healthy education.
