Start School Later is thrilled to introduce their 81st local chapter and the fourth local chapter in Tennessee.
Judy Solan and Sara Melamed started a Facebook community Sleep Well Tennessee, in hopes of educating their community about the hazards of early school start times. Since then, they have engaged the community and have been working with the local school board to address this issue. The group has now officially launched as a Start School Later chapter, in order to join the growing collective voice urging healthy and safe school start times.
