Teens need 9-10 hours of sleep.  Students have a hard time going to sleep before their biological bedtime of 11pm which can result in sleep deprivation for teens.  This can be exacerbated by staying up longer doing homework and being on electronic devices. Some consequences are: increases school-based violence, depression and suicidal ideation.
