In Cohasset, we are dedicated to creating life long learners and encouraging students to engage in the amazing world around them. This is a difficult task if they are sleep deprived.
Cohasset Middle and High School currently starts at 7:20am which does not do them any favors in their learning. There is overwhelming evidence teenagers need to start school at a time that works with their biological clock. We have so much to be proud of here in Cohasset with amazing teachers and administrators to a robust curriculum and supportive community. We want our children to thrive in school and having a start time that will enable them to do that is essential. There are numerous reasons this is tricky in our community, but a solution can be found that works and we welcome your support. Cohasset is the eighteenth local chapter in Massachusetts.
