Start School Later Montgomery County is committed to protecting the health and safety of public school students by advocating for reasonable school start times and working in a positive manner within the local community.

In Other NewsWe presented the petition w/10K+ names to Joshua Starr and the BOE on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. That very day MCPS announced they would form a working group to examine the issue.
We are hopeful we will be invited to join the work group and will be keeping a very close eye on the progress. It is important for the signatures to keep coming in. Start School Later Montgomery County was also featured in the Washington Examiner. |
